Cats n Critters BOM

I have been working on my Cats n Critters slowly! I don't do alot of hand sewing either and have never done wool applique'. But this is rather fun and turning out cute. I love cats and these cats really grabbed my heart! I am not using freezer paper but trying to draw on the wool and haven't found a marker that works too well. But am making due. I have not used many decorative stitches just certain ones over and over. I don't remember seeing videos of each month's block. Maybe if a stitch pattern changes or is added a brief video would be helpful since I am not one who has done alot of hand embroidery. Thanks for this BOM which has challenged me but I feel pretty successful so far. I am just curious about quilting all together at the end - with a backing and batting??? Quilting all over isn't a good idea with the button eyes is it? Many longarmers don't custom quilt any more.

We are glad that you are enjoying working on Cats & Critters. I would definitely try using freezer paper. It means that you don't have to mark anything. We do have tutorials on our website if you click on the drop down menu for classes. There is a section for embroidery stitches to help you along the way, I would put the buttons on after the whole thing is quilted. It will make it much easier for your quilter.

Cats N Critters BOM

I got my kit and I just love the kitty!!! However, I haven't done much hand stitching especilly on wool and am not familiar with the stitches listed. Will you be posting videos to show how to do the stitches?
