🎭 Marni Hath Taken Over the Newsletter!
Hear ye, hear ye! Marni here, and I've officially seized control of the Sew Creative newsletter!
Karen has been temporarily relieved of her editorial duties because I've been keeping a rather exciting secret. And trust me, this one was worth keeping!
KAREN, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, STOP RIGHT NOW.
Go cut some fabric. Reorganize the thread. Check on the shop. Anything but keep reading!
Is she gone? Good.
Because this particular adventure involves surprise visitors, a bit of Shakespeare, beautiful new fabrics, and more than a little mischief.
So gather 'round, dear readers. Our tale is about to begin!
ACT I
🎭 Something Wicked This Way Comes...
Remember that little secret I mentioned? Well, the surprise is out!
Karen's wonderful friends Tina from Vermont Quilter's Schoolhouse and Renee from Renee's House of Quilting made the trip all the way to Ashland for a surprise visit!
That's right. A full-fledged friend invasion at Sew Creative!
A little throwback from a previous get-together!
And what better place for a dramatic surprise than Ashland, Oregon?
Our little town has been home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival since 1935, so naturally, all this excitement inspired a bit of theatrical fun.
Pair that with the beautiful new Kindred fabric collection, and we simply couldn't resist making Shakespeare the star of the show!

🧵 Show & Share at Sew Creative!
Before our Shakespearean adventure continues, let's celebrate one of our favorite things about Sew Creative: seeing what everyone has been making!
Our October 10 Show & Share was another opportunity to gather, admire projects, and exchange a little creative inspiration.
Whether a quilt is finished or still a work in progress, we love seeing the ideas, fabrics, and beautiful stitching our customers bring through the door.

It's always a treat to spend time with fellow quilters and sewists who share our love of making things!

👑 A Fabric Fit for a Queen

From graceful florals to ornate scrollwork and traditional motifs, this collection has a timeless elegance that makes it perfect for a variety of quilting projects.
We can just imagine these beautiful fabrics becoming something fit for royalty!

Of course, no Shakespeare-inspired adventure would be complete without a little magic!
And our beautiful Lumiere collection looks like it wandered straight out of an enchanted forest.
With dreamy fairies, delicate butterflies, glowing moonlight, and beautiful florals, these fabrics are absolutely enchanting.
Imagine creating a quilt filled with the wonder and mystery of a magical woodland garden!
A Little More Fairy Magic
The supporting fabrics are just as lovely as the fairy panel, with floral designs and coordinating colors that bring the entire collection together.

🌲 Into the Woods We Go...
Our Shakespearean adventures have taken us from castles to enchanted gardens, and now we're wandering a little deeper into the forest!
It's the perfect opportunity to revisit one of our charming Block of the Month programs, Walk in the Woods.
This beautiful project features woodland scenes brought to life through wool appliqué and embroidery. From sweet forest animals to flowers, branches, and little woodland treasures, every block offers another opportunity to enjoy hand stitching.

Each little scene is full of personality, and there's something especially enjoyable about watching these woodland friends come to life one stitch at a time.
If you love wool appliqué, embroidery, and projects filled with nature-inspired details, Walk in the Woods might be just what you're looking for!

Well, I suppose it's time to return control of the newsletter to Karen before she discovers just how thoroughly I've taken over!
What began as a surprise visit from dear friends turned into a full-blown Shakespearean adventure filled with beautiful fabrics, enchanted forests, and plenty of laughter.
Not a bad week at Sew Creative, if I do say so myself!
Until next time, dear readers...

Our Customers Are So Talented!
Our customer Susan has created something that fits right into our enchanted woodland theme!
Her beautiful quilt board features lovely dragonflies and rich colors that have us thinking of magical gardens and midsummer evenings.
